Dr.Charles Griff

Dr. Charles Griff  is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Griff has been practicing medical,cosmetic, and surgical dermatology in West Palm Beach since 1998. His journey to south Florida has been punctuated by stops at some of the most elite institutions in the world. Growing up in Harrisburg,  Pennsylvania, he attended Susquehanna Township High School where he graduated first in his class. Dr. Griff was also a national caliber competitive swimmer and golfer at that time. His academic success continued at Bucknell University, where he was class valedictorian.

After graduating with the highest honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1992, Dr.Griff completed his medical internship at Harvard University’s Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He subsequently served as chief resident during his dermatology departments. Following his residency training, Dr.Griff served as a clinical professor, and was responsible for dermatology resident at NYU. As an academician, Dr.Griff lectured across the country, authored numerous publications, and was featured in several well-known magazines.

After several fulfilling years at NYU, Dr. Griff relocated to South Florida in 1998 to pursue private practice. He cares for patients using the skills and knowledge acquired from years of handling the most challenging cases in academic medicine. Out of the office, Dr.Griff takes pleasures in the South Florida lifestyle with his family,and enjoys boating, fishing, and marathon training. Diagnosed with insulin dependent diabetes as a teenager, he takes pride in being one of a handful of insulin dependent diabetics to complete over 30 marathons and 12 full Ironman Triathlons at an elite level.

Dr. Peggy O. Hunter, MD

 

 

 

Peggy O. Hunter, MD is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Hunter joined PBC Dermatology in 2008 after relocating to South Florida. She previously practiced at Macaione and Papa Dermatology in Voorhees, New Jersey.

Growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Hunter was actively involved in the arts, and attended the prestigious Peabody Preparatory Institute of Music for classical piano. After graduating with honors from the University of Maryland at College Park, she continued her studies and obtained a Masters of social work degree. Dr. Hunter completed her post baccalaureate studies in the premedical sciences while working full time as a psychiatric social worker at the Eastern Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Hunter obtained her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania Hahnemann University (now Drexel University College of Medicine) where she was awarded numerous clinical clerkship honors. In 2002, she completed an internship in internal medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. Dr. Hunter received her dermatology residency training at Hahnemann University Hospital where she served as chief resident. Dr. Hunter has spoken professionally at regional dermatology meetings, has published chapters in a dermatology reference book, and has written articles featured in peer reviewed journals.

Dr.Hunter donates her time and professional expertise to Project access, a county medical society program offering free health care to indigent county residents. She is an active runner and enjoys theatre as well as studying classical voice.

Dr. Dana C. Holl

 

 

 

Dr. Holl is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and member of the Women’s Dermatology Society.

Dr.Holl grew up in Haddonfield, New Jersey where she excelled athletically and scholastically. She was a top rated player on the State Champion field hockey team and captain of the basketball team. After high school, Dr.Holl attented Colgate University where she competed in collegiate level alpine skiing and sailing. Dr.Holl graduated magna cum laude with honors in English and Environmental Studies and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa society.

In 2000, Dr.Holl completed her medical eduacation at the Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University (now Drexel College of Medicine) in Philadelphia, where she was the recipient of academic, clinical and volunteer service awards. She fulfilled her internship in surgery and internal medicine at LegacyHealth System in Portland, Oregon in 2001 followed by residency training in dermatology at the Los Angeles County/Drew and Harbor-UCLA Medical Centers from 2001-2004. As chief resident, she received scholarships and speaking invitations from several state, regional and national dermatology societies.

After residency, Dr.Holl was recruited to join the faculty at Los Angeles County, an academic position consisting of clinical responsibilities and training of residents and medical students. During this time, she was appointed director of residency education and head of Laser Surgery.

In 2006, Dr. Holl and her husband decided to relocate to Florida to be closer to family. She is proficient in Spanish and enjoys taking care of backgrounds. Whenever time permits, Dr.Holl relishes spending time with her family exploring the great outdoors.

 

 

Dr. John Perrotto

 

 

 

John Perrotto, D.O. received his Bachelors of arts from Union College in Schenectady, NY in 1996. Dr. Perrotto graduated medical school from the University Of New England College Of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001 and completed both a family practice and dermatology residencies at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida. He had the distinction of serving as chief resident in each of these programs. Dr.Perrotto is double board certified in family practice and dermatology. He completed a fellowship through the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology in West Des Moines, Iowa with the world renowned physician, Dr. Roger Ceilley

Dr.Perrotto has performed thousands of Mohs cases and often lectures to other medical professionals in the field. He is an active member of multiple medical and surgical societies.
